Psychosocial Evaluations

A Psychosocial Evaluation is a comprehensive assessment including an evaluation of needs and risk. The assessment of needs is designed to identify those personal-psychological and environmental (social) factors that might explain distress or difficulties in functioning. A Psychosocial Evaluation may lead to a differential diagnosis and be used to develop a mental health (and possibly psychiatric and/or medical) treatment plan.
